DOP Teruel Pinalbar Ham leg is obtained from the Landrace and Large White pig breeds (Mother) and 100% Duroc pig (Father), which characterizes this excellent piece with a perfect fat infiltrate, resulting in an outstanding ham in taste, smell and texture.

Ham awarded the bronze medal in the contest for the best ham in Teruel 2017.

Conservation and tasting

When you receive the Teruel Pinalbar Ham from Casa Conejos, remove the protective wrapping and put it in a cool, dry place. Once started, you must protect the meat with a layer of the initial bacon that has been removed, to preserve its smoothness and not to dry out excessively. Always use suitable, well-sharpened utensils to obtain the best characteristics.

You can eat it alone, on a good country bread with olive oil, or add it to a multitude of recipes of the wide and rich Spanish gastronomy.
