The 100% Iberian acorn-fed ham comes from a purebred Iberian pig, that is, from a 100% Iberian breed mother and father. Its genetic purity, free-range aging in meadows and feeding based on acorns and wild herbs during the montanera season, give it a high degree of quality, as well as its careful production process in natural dryers and cellars.

The 5J, together with the Sánchez Romero Carvajal (SRC) are among the best Iberian Hams originating in Huelva, in the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche. Thanks to the delicate and traditional process from the breeding of the pig in the Natural Park, to its subsequent treatment of salting, curing and maturation in the cellar, an acorn-fed ham of the best possible quality is obtained.
