The "Casa Íbera" 50% Iberian breed Cebo ham comes from pigs raised in Salamanca, where the mother is 100% Iberian and the father is 100% Duroc, resulting in a high-quality 50% Iberian ham with its characteristic fat marbling. This ham leg is certified Iberian and has a white seal, as required for Cebo Iberian hams. The salting and curing process takes place in natural dryers located in the Sierra de Baza.

In the production of "Casa Íbera" Cebo Iberian ham, only sea salt is used. No preservatives, colorants, nitrates, nitrites, gluten, or lactose are added.

Due to its natural curing (minimum of 36 months), the maturation process is slower and longer, resulting in a well-balanced ham with rich aromas and flavors that can only be achieved through natural and artisanal methods.

When you buy the Cebo Iberian ham sliced and packaged, it will be sent directly from the dryer located in the Sierra de Baza, where it is kept at the optimal temperature and humidity.

The slices are prepared at the same time you place your order, directly from a whole ham, so sometimes preparation may take an extra day.

Storage of Sliced Cebo Iberian Ham

You will receive the ham cut directly from the factory, in perfect condition. Once it arrives at your home, the best way to store it is in the refrigerator and take the slices out 30 minutes before consuming to bring them to room temperature. It is highly recommended not to consume it directly from the fridge, as the cold will prevent the full expression of its flavors and aromas.
