Ham made by a family business that began in 1959 in Baza, province of Granada, curing hams without preservatives. For a few years it has increased its offer by offering Iberian hams.

The "Casa Íbera" 75% Iberian acorn-fed ham comes from free-range pigs whose mother is 100% Iberian and the father is 50% Iberian, resulting in a high-quality Iberian ham. During the fattening season, it has fed exclusively on acorns and wild grasses in the meadows of Salamanca .

Ham with Iberian certification and red label, as corresponds to 50% and 75% acorn-fed Iberian breed hams.

Elaboration of Iberian ham Casa Íbera

Using the traditional recipe of the grandparents more than 60 years ago, they make this fantastic acorn-fed ham using only sea salt as a natural additive. No more artificial preservatives, coloring, nitrate or nitrite are added.

Due to its natural curing, maturation times are slower, resulting in a very balanced leg of ham in all aspects.

When you buy Casa Íbera acorn-fed Spanish ham, it will be sent to you directly from the dryer located in the Sierra de Baza, where it remains at the right temperature and humidity.

Conservation of acorn-fed Iberian ham Casa Íbera

As the ham is sent directly from the factory, you will receive it in perfect conditions, so all you have to do is remove the greaseproof food paper , the cotton cover and place it in a place sheltered from sunlight and external sources that emit heat .

Once started, you should put food film paper over the cut area and cover it with a clean kitchen cloth. Periodically change the cling film to prevent the accumulation of fat from the Iberian ham that could oxidize.
