This Granada ham made by "Jamones de Juviles" is cured for a minimum of 36 months in natural drying rooms located in the Sierra Nevada National Park.
A piece made from 100% Iberian pigs on the maternal side and 100% Duroc pigs on the paternal side, resulting in a 50% Iberian breed ham, which guarantees excellent quality and a characteristic marbling, giving the meat an aroma, excellent smell and texture. Hams with this percentage of Iberian ham are juicier, since 100% Iberian hams have leaner meat.
The pigs destined to obtain Iberian hams by the family business "Jamones de Juviles" are raised freely in the best pastures in Spain and fed with acorns and native wild herbs during the montanera stage.
