Conservation and tasting

When you receive the acorn-fed pork leg from the Jamón Pasión store, you must remove the protective wrapping and put it in a cool and dry place. Always use proper, well-sharpened utensils to obtain the best characteristics.

The Dehesa de Extremadura.

It is an ecosystem adapted by humans to achieve a model of sustainable development through agricultural, livestock and forestry use; where the differentiating element is the acorn of holm oaks and cork oaks, which together with the grass and pastures serves as sustenance and food for the Iberian pig that offers us the most exquisite hams in the world.

The Protected Designation of Origin "Dehesa de Extremadura" delimits the entire Extremadura region as a livestock production area, and the Extremadura regions of the southwestern mountain ranges of Badajoz, Ibor-Villuercas, Cáceres as an area for processing and maturing Iberian products -Gredos Sur, Sierra de Montánchez and Sierra de San Pedro.
